Helen & Simon purchased Dunedin in 2012 and have lovingly restored & renovated the building to its original beauty.
Built around 1841 Dunedin is styled in late Georgian with an early Victorian influence.
Set in beautifully landscaped gardens,
From our beautiful dining room and elegant study to picturesque surroundings and outdoor seating areas, Dunedin boasts some excellent guest areas to ensure the best possible stay.
The quaint village of Patrington is on our doorstep and hosts a variety of independent shops, eateries & hostelries, including our own beauty lounge “The Retreat”.
A grain merchant once owned Dunedin and after travelling the world fell in love with the Scottish settlement of Dunedin In New Zealand.
On his return, he renamed Dunedin (formerly The Terrace House) and installed the “Italian” style balcony also inspired by his travels.

Why not indulge in a little ‘you’ time? Our highly qualified Beauty Therapists can deliver a range of bespoke treatments, ensuring you leave our Spa feeling recharged and rejuvenated.
Enjoy a St. Tropez spray tan, O.P.I Gel Color, PHD waxing or take advantage of one of our head-to-toe relaxation treatments, which include: Facials, Massages, Manicures, and Pedicures, all designed specifically to pamper and relieve your stress.
For complete indulgence, we also offer pamper packages - a series of treatments intended for maximum relaxation.
These can be enjoyed in a group, as a couple, or for complete peace and serenity, you can experience them individually.
Our Restaurant offers locally sourced produce cooked by our resident chefs, you can also rely on a good hearty Yorkshire breakfast!
We use fresh, seasonal, local produce all year round, our menu is always changing.
The bar serves all of your favourites along with signature cocktails and lots of friendly banter on the local area, and anything in between
Dunedin has 11 Bedrooms and 2 self-catering Lodges [sleeping 10] with Hot Tubs.
Each of our 11 bedrooms at Dunedin is individually decorated to provide the ultimate luxury accommodation on the East Coast of England.
The opulent combination of antique furnishings, magnificent fabrics, and quality textiles creates a sense of timeless elegance and comfort.
