Scarborough Pier Lighthouse is an active aid to navigation on Vincent Pier in Scarborough. The lighthouse dates from 1806, but it had to be rebuilt following damage sustained in the German bombardment of 1914.

The octagonal chalk tower on Flamborough Head, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is described as England's oldest surviving lighthouse since it was built as a light tower in 1674 by Sir John Clayton but he went bankrupt soon after it was completed.

Withernsea’s Lighthouse is one of only a handful of lighthouses built inland, standing 127 feet (38m) high in the middle of the seaside town. It closed in 1976 after 82 years of service and now serves as a memorial to local girl Kay Kendal 1950s famous film star, and includes a video film of excerpts from well-known films and memorabilia.

You can leave the car at the visitor's centre and walk down the peninsula along the sandy beach before reaching the more industrial, still-working end.
