Whitby Road Loop

This is the jewel in the crown of road cycling on Route YC. Bring your climbing legs and experience the North York Moors National Park on a long day ride or a weekend away.

From Whitby, the route can be ridden in both directions. If you are looking for something unique, bring your bike on the North York Moors Railway and start your ride from one of the stations along the way. Highlights along the route include historic Whitby, the picturesque villages of Robin Hood’s Bay, Goathland and Staithes, the vast open landscapes of the North York Moors and the stunning cliffs and beaches of the Yorkshire Coast.
