Stop for a stroll at Hayburn Wyke

A great way to see the Yorkshire Coastline is taking on the Cleveland Way, but if you are someone that just wants to see the highlights, check out Hayburn Wyke and the dual beach waterfall.

Between Scarborough and Whitby, you will find a secluded cove and waterfall called Hayburn Wyke. To get to it, you will walk through the woodland to access the beach and find this hidden gem for a day of exploration or picnic stop.

To set your walk off with a warm glow, stop off at The Hayburn Wyke Inn before taking a walk from here through the wooded valley. The dramatic cliffs covered with dense woodland vegetation provide the backdrop to this unique find and with a waterfall that is so close that it cascades directly onto the rocky beach.
