What is VanLifeFest?

VanLifeFest is an exciting family festival at Scampton Hall near Malton on 5th-7th May 2023. As the name suggests, this festival is all about van life and celebrates the joys of camper vans and the fantastic community that comes with them.

The festival features hundreds of incredible camper vans in all shapes and sizes, from vintage VW campers to sleek, modern conversions. You'll be able to explore some great camper vans and chat with their owners about their experiences while enjoying family-friendly entertainment and activities.

One of the highlights of VanLifeFest is the live music, with a fantastic lineup of local and national musicians performing across the weekend. There's also a wide range of delicious food and drink on offer.

In addition to the fantastic vans, music, and food, VanLifeFest also features a range of family-friendly entertainment, including climbing walls, archery, axe throwing and circus workshops. It's the perfect event for families looking for a fun day out or for anyone who wants to experience the unique spirit of the van life community.

The Prize

And now, we're thrilled to offer you the chance to join in the fun! We have three pairs of tickets to give away, and you can use them in one of two ways.

If you're a campervan owner, you can bring your van for the whole weekend and camp out with the other van enthusiasts. Or, if you prefer, you can use the tickets as a day pass for Saturday 6th May and enjoy all the festival has to offer without staying overnight. Please note that camping and caravans are not allowed on-site.

How to Enter

If you want to win a pair to tickets to VanLifeFest, here's what you need to do.

1) Head over to the Route YC Facebook page and follow us.

2) Add an emoji in the competition post comments section - that's it!

3) Entries close at 23:59 on 1st May 2023; entries received after this date will not be counted.

4) Make sure to read the Terms & Conditions carefully to ensure that you are eligible for the competition. The full T&Cs can be found below.

Terms & Conditions: Win Tickets for VanLifeFest

Employees of Route YC or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to enter the competition.

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

The route to entry for the competition has been stated on the Route YC Website so please check there for instructions.

The closing date will be 23:59 on 1st May 2023. After this date and time, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

The rules of the competition and the prize for each winner are outlined Route YC website. The winner will be drawn on 2nd May 2023, and the prize will be collected and redeemed at the gate at VanLifeFest.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

Winners will be chosen across all eligible entries via a randomizer.

The winner will be notified by email within 1 day of the close of the competition. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 24 hours of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions and allows the Promoter to reuse submitted details and photographs for reasonable promotional use.

The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

The winner’s name will be published on Facebook & Instagram and via www.routeyc.co.uk.
