It was an exciting time for Route YC as the magazine On:Yorkshire visited to uncover the Southern leg of the Route. From Withernsea to Hornsea and Bridlington, Steve enjoyed trying out some great experiences and sampling some delicious Yorkshire food and hospitality along the way. In this blog post, we take a quick look at Steve's trip and what he discovered on his travels.
During his journey along the Southern end of the Yorkshire Coast, Steve experienced various types of accommodation. In Hornsea, Steve stayed in one of the luxury wooden lodges at Hornsea Lakeside Lodges, which offer a unique and cosy place to stay surrounded by stunning countryside views. In Withernsea, he enjoyed the grandeur of staying in one of the town's more historical houses, Dunedin Country House Hotel, with plenty of charm and character on offer. And finally, in Bridlington, Steve opted for a stay in one of the bijou-style chalets at the Manor Court Hotel, which offer a modern twist on traditional seaside holiday accommodation.
