Easter is a prime time to visit the numerous attractions dotted along the Yorkshire coast. Step back in time at the Scarborough Fair Collection. The museum displays fairground mechanical organs and showman's engines, and it is one of the largest collections in Europe. You can even hop aboard some vintage fairground rides!

Delve into marine life at the Scarborough Sea Life sanctuary and meet some alpacas at Playdale Farm. For those seeking thrills, a speedboat ride or a visit to Alpamare Waterpark will provide a fun-filled day out for all ages.

Meet the locals

Route YC is home to lots of animals. While exploring you’ll encounter wildlife, livestock and maybe even a penguin!

Humble Bee Farm are offering a unique experience this Easter. Visitors will be able to meet and feed their brand-new baby lambs and learn all about the flock. Say hello to the sheepdogs then follow a trail around the farm before getting to know the full farmyard gang including Tilly the Shetland Pony, donkeys, alpacas, goats, hens and ducks. Seaside cycles

With the arrival of spring, the Yorkshire coast comes alive with vibrant colours and refreshing sea breezes. Easter weekend provides the perfect opportunity to check out some of Route YC’s cycling itineraries. The routes range from nine to 260 miles and allow cyclists to explore the Yorkshire coast on gravel, road and touring bikes. Bring a picnic along to enjoy an alfresco lunch with picturesque views!
