Defender Camping is a Yorkshire-based business that allows customers to hire Land Rover Defenders for their travels and camping trips. Founded by husband and wife Tom and Sophie Waters, Defender Camping is based on their working farm at the foot of the North York Moors, where they live with their two children, Will and Martha, and their black Labrador Skye.

The business was born from a love of the beautiful Yorkshire region, Land Rovers, and travel. Tom and Sophie understand that many view the Land Rover as a workhorse but believe it to be much more than that. Along with Defender Camping, they also run Yorkshire Vehicle Hire.
